Puglia Promozione have arranged this series of 200 different events which runs from 15 November, 2014 to 6 January, 2015. The aim is to share Salento’s heritage with the public and thus churches and castles, museums and masserias, artisan workshops and ancient sites will be open free of charge at weekends and during the holiday season.
Discovering Salento is not just a cultural experience. There’s plenty to do for sports enthusiasts, foodies and families with kids too.
This is a wonderful opportunity to discover more about the tradition and culture of this jewel in Puglia’s glittering crown and not to be missed if you are in the area in the next six weeks or so.
