This exhibition features 30 photographs by renowned international photographer Ferdinando Scianna. The dates have been extended because of popular demand.
The evocative images, in the stunning setting of Casa Cava, feature women of many ages and from many eras. Some are famous, like film star Monica Bellucci, some are unknown, all are strong, feminine, proud and from the south.
The exhibition is part of a wider cultural event curated by Oscar Iarussi entitled Tu Non Conosci il Sud, (you don’t know the south) aimed at dismantling preconceptions about this controversial and much maligned part of Italy.
