That great icon of 20th century Italian art Ugo Nespolo is being celebrated in a retrospective which highlights some of the most important stages in his artistic life.
The exhibition will also feature a series of new works in mixed media on paper paying homage to Lecce’s Baroque history whilst retaining the pop art style for which Nespolo is famed.
The gallery hosting this innovative event is ArtevitA Art&co in Lecce and the whole project is being co-ordinated by gallery owner and curator Tiziano Giurin.
The artist himself will attend the opening night on Saturday November 29 at 6pm.
