Starting on 6th August, the 16th edition of this increasingly popular festival is a 15-date series of concerts around Salento.
With more than 300,000 visitors expected from all over the world, this Italy’s biggest festival and one of the largest and most important events dedicated to folk culture in Europe.
The festival showcases Salento’s folk music fused with all kinds of world music from rock to jazz to classical.
Where and When: Beginning at Corigliano d’Otranto (6 August) it then moves to Sternatia (7 August), Zollino (8 August), Cursi (9 August), Martignano (10 August), Soleto (11 August), Carpignano Salentino (12 August), Sogliano Cavour (13 August), Lecce (14 August), Castrignano dei Greci (16 August), Alessano (17 August), Cutrofiano (18 August), Calimera (19 August), Galatina (20 August) and Martano (21 August). The final concert is at Melpignano (24 August)
